Krista England

Life’s challenges can affect every part of who we are—our mental and physical health, our behaviors, our sense of happiness, and our self-worth.

I have worked with a variety of clients, all different ages and through many challenges. However, my early experience working with teenagers in foster care and group homes, many of whom have endured significant trauma, shaped my approach to care. Through this work, I’ve seen firsthand how powerful it can be to simply feel heard. Offering compassion, empathy, and a judgment-free environment can be a meaningful step toward healing.

I take a person-centered approach to therapy, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques to help clients better understand the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) practices. These tools allow me to tailor our work together, creating multiple pathways to process trauma and navigate life’s complexities.

I believe deeply in the resilience of each person I work with. With the right support and collaboration, you have the ability to overcome life’s challenges and create meaningful, lasting change.
