Carrie Lucas

I don’t know where you are in life right now, but if you’re searching through therapists’ websites, you might be in a tough spot. That’s where most of the people who come see me are: stuck. Stuck in a pattern of doing things they don’t want to be doing, stuck in a relationship they wish could be better, stuck in a rut they can’t seem to get out of, stuck in their own emotions they can’t make sense of. Just stuck. And stuck is hard. Our brains like order and connection and movement. Stuck is messy and maddening and isolating.

Let’s get you un-stuck.

My certifications, trainings, and years of experience are what give me a map to help you get where you want to be. Couple that with my heart that beats to a rhythm of grace and compassion, and you have a place to not only get traction and movement to the life you desire, but to also feel heard and understood throughout the entire process. I trust that you’ve tried everything in your power to make things better on your own before seeking out therapy as a resource, and I admire your courage to try another thing to get out of the stuck place you’ve been in. I believe in the power of connection and that not doing hard things alone makes a miraculous difference in our quest for a better life.

You can get out of your stuck spot, and I’d love to be the one who walks through it with you to the other side.

Outside of work, you can find me spending time with my husband, our three kids, and our dog. I’m a music lover, traveler, and avid sports fan.
